Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its sweeping landscapes, iconic baobab trees, and large elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling game drive and settle into your lodge nestled in the wild. As the sun sets, share a private dinner under the stars with the sounds of the bush in the background.
Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara & Maasai Cultural Experience
Leave Tarangire and head to Lake Manyara for a morning safari. Marvel at the diverse birdlife, tree-climbing lions, and lush groundwater forest. Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
Today, journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands into the world-renowned Serengeti. En route, you may stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most significant archaeological sites in East Africa. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive before checking into your romantic tented camp deep in the wild.
Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti
Spend the day exploring the vast Serengeti plains, tracking the Big Five and, depending on the season, witnessing the Great Migration. Break for a bush picnic in the wilderness, then continue your adventure. End the day with a special sundowner or candlelit bush dinner arranged by your lodge.
Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Enjoy one last Serengeti game drive before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers wildlife sightings and stunning views. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim in time to relax and take in breathtaking views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive in this natural wildlife sanctuary. Spot endangered black rhinos, large prides of lions, and flocks of flamingos. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, begin your return drive to Arusha for a restful overnight stay.
